Non-traditional emergent worship for those who prefer something a bit different and and a lot more interactive and personal. In this service, Terry O’Hara (on piano), (Steve Body) on bass and Jacob Roy (on drums) lead us in a variety of music styles: traditional, jazz and Taize. We come together as a community to worship God through song, by reading and breaking open the Gospel using Kaleidoscope bible study, by offering prayers for our world and community and by gathering around the table to share in Holy Communion. All are welcome. Come as you are.
This service is our most traditional Lutheran Worship but in reality it is what is known as a “blended” service. While this time of worship usually follows one of the liturgies from our Lutheran Tradition, Ben Dobyns (on piano) and Steve Body (on bass) bring a special flair to the service in a celebratory up-beat way. Each Sunday we gather to thank and praise God for the gift of salvation in Jesus Christ through Word and Sacrament, (we celebrate Holy Communion every Sunday) to make a joyful noise through song and to offer up prayers for all of God’s creation. All are welcome. Kids are most welcome although nursery care is provided if parents prefer.
